The vehicle was in a serious T-Bone crash, and the side air bags did not deploy. At 73,000mi, The engine developed oil leaks, and in the replacement of the gaskets, it was discovered the ignition coil was damaged with oil. Coil unit was near $500, various parts, tune-up (fouled plugs from blown gasket), labor, Total (with free oil change and filter as courtesy) $1035 w/tax.
Could you explain what you are wanting ? I hope you are not thinking of buying this vehicle.
I agree, would not buy it, but if it is already yours, is there a question in their somewhere???
To be avoided at all cost.
This car might have a salvage or “rebuilt” title . . . I’d stay the heck away from it
Spend a little more money on a car that wasn’t crashed
You saying that reminded me of a video I saw about the new 4th gen Tacoma’s (24/25) being totaled from being hit in the trailer hitch and bending it…
Anyway, Ins is totaling them out due to requiring frame replacement (per Toyota for warranty or something) and the frames are like a year out (back ordered), so lots of good running Tacoma’s with salvage titles sitting in junk yards or being sold with salvaged titles and he also said that you will still pay very close to the same Ins prices as a non salvaged title Tacoma…
That is absolutely INSANE
I’m not paying close to new price for a salvage title Tacoma
