dash board warning…“emission system warning” . car seems to run fine
Take it to your dealer. The warning is telling you something is wrong even though the car still runs OK. Get it fixed! Even if the car is no longer under warranty, emissions systems are warrantied much longer - 80K miles, I believe.
The EPA mandate for emission control components to manufacturers is 2 years/24,000 miles. The only components covered for 8 years/80,000 miles is for catalytic converter(s)/computer(s).

Acura has a 4 year/50k bumper to bumper. Just take it in, they’ll fix it.
Every new Acura is covered, including the battery, for 4 years or 50,000 miles. The tires are warranted separately. The powertrain in your new Acura is covered for 6 years or 70,000 miles.
if you bought it in sept,15’ than you are at 3 yrs, 3 months but if you are over 50k miles than the BTB is over.
i think powertrain is anything that is wet or coolant or oil touches so emissions might not be covered
And, as said, the emissions warranty is 8 years/80k miles, which would likely be the warranty that applies here.
