2015 Mercedes-Benz C-Class - Good idea?

Is a 2015 c350 Coupe with 95k miles a good purchase?

That is question that can’t be answered over the web. Take the vehicle to a good mechanic that is versed in MB and let them tell you what kind of shape it is in.

Will you pay cash? No loan? Have reserves for repairs?

I fixed it for you.

If you find one in good condition, it will cost a bit more than $10,000 over 5 years for maintenance and another $10,000 for repairs according to Edmunds. This is for work done at the dealer. If that bothers you, find something else. European luxury cars can be expensive to buy, maintain, and repair.

You know how to make a small fortune? Start with a large fortune and then buy a used Mercedes-Benz.

First question is do you have a local Mercedes specialist that’s worked on these? The german car guys my brother uses would give their opinion on if you should even think of buying one and how much it costs to maintain.

It earned an average reliability score in the latest Consumer Reports auto issue. That’s better than many German cars. Still, anything it needs is likely to be shockingly expensive if you’re not used to them.
