But I’d recommend synthetic oil for your Soul.

Suggest per recommendation above to consult owner’s manual. But from what I see, basic engine oil specs are 5W-20, API “SM” or better.

Depends on the mileage, I have seen many high mileage engines start leaking past seals when switching from dinosaur oil over to Full Synthetic oil due to how much slicker it is…
But if the engine has lower miles and NO oil leaks then it is a great oil…
