WHAT is 18 degrees cooler than norm? Your climate? The AC outlet temperature? What?
You told us right there the answer to this question. It is pay the $300 to the dealer to fix the car. But why did you not have this fixed 3 years ago when the car was still under warranty?
Recalls are not issued for AC, only safety items but the dealer would know of all recalls and Technical Service Bulletins
