I started my car yesterday only to find the check engine was illuminated with engine misfire. I took vehicle to Hyundai dealership only to be informed the following day that the car needed two of the six injectors replaced due to carbon buildup. My 2014 Azera only has 87,000 miles and the dealership is wanting $1,200 to replace. Does anyone know if injectors are covered under California emissions? I would appreciate if anyone has heard of this issue with Hyundai. Thank you in advance.
So you bought this used? Because Hyundai has a 10 year, 100K mile warranty. Emission stuff is covered 8 years or 80K miles.
May not apply in any case considering the cause was carbon buildup and not failure of the part. They will say carbon buildup is on you for using poor quality gasoline and so you must pay. I tend to agree with that.

The California emissions warranty is for 7 years/70,000 miles which has expired. The details can be found in your warranty booklet.
