When should I have the brakes checked on a new car
That can be done when you have an oil change or tire rotation . There is not a set time and a new vehicle should go at least 20000 miles before pads need replaced, might even be a lot longer. Why are you asking, do you think you have a brake problem?

Is this a new car or a 2014?
I have a 2014 GC and the heavy duty brakes went around 80000 miles before they needed replacing .
I had a 2005 Grand caravan. A good chunk of my miles were heavy stop and go traffic. Needed a front brake job every 35 or 40k miles. Back brakes lasted maybe 75k.
