The last time I went to get my oil changed I was told there was a leak in the transmission.
so I took it to the place that has replaced my transmission because of an accident. they said the leak was in the oil pan and thay could fix it. I cannot seem to be losing oil. What now?
Transmission oil pan or crankcase oil pan? the gasket on both of these pans can be replaced if they are leaking.
The transmission shop probably meant that the leak was in the Trans oil pan.
The leak could be so minor at this point that it would be hard to tell on the dip stick.
A new gasket and about an hour of labor.
I’d get it fixed!
