Engine pings at medium speeds uphill at altitudes 7000’ and over. High speeds up hills no problem. Around town, on freeways no problem. Anyone know of a high-altitude adjustment that can be made?
There is a software update for the Powertrain Control Module to correct that problem, spark knock at high altitudes;
"This bulletin announces availability of ECM reprogramming files to address customer concerns of persistent spark knock (ping) for vehicles operated in high altitude areas. "
