compressor problems and engine problems… makes a really loud tapping noise, maybe the belt around the pulley…
Maybe, maybe not… you didn’t give enough information for anyone here to help you if, indeed, you’d like some help.
You should really get that checked out by a mechanic. I hear they know about cars.
Did a mechanic inform you that your vehicle has both of those problems, or is that just a guess on your part?
A bad belt might make a screeching noise, as could bad bearings in the belt pulley, but they are not likely to make a tapping noise, and tapping would be much more likely to be coming from the engine. Loud tapping noises coming from the engine are potentially an indicator of serious engine issues that need to be checked-out right away.
Have you checked the level of the motor oil?
When the oil is changed, is the correct specification motor oil used every time?
How often–in terms of both odometer mileage and elapsed time–do you change the oil?
