Back hatch will not open, thought it was the lock so purchased a new one but still won’t work.
the lock actuator motor is probably faulty and wont release the lock to open the hatch.
there is a emergency release lever

you should also check your owners manual to see if there is a separate relay for your rear hatch. if there is one it may be faulty.
