After ignition was turned off, the engine was still running despite all the electrical being off. Re-started car several times but car remained running. Finally drove care around parking lot and car turned off. Wondering if anyone else has experienced this.
define “restarted” if it never shut off.

Was it the cooling fan(s) running on, not the engine?
No it was not the fan. That was my first assumption
This uses a “push button” ignition switch so I’m wondering if it may be a contact problem in the switch?
Could you provide the mileage and have you been able to reproduce the problem?
Also exactly what happened when you “Restarted the car several times” while the engine was running? Did the starter try to engage?
