My 2013 FORD ESCAPE ECOBOOST does not start after parking it. it is a keyless one. The dashboard lights perfectly . but when pushing the button to start nothing happens except a red square signal and an alert ringing.
The icon means there is a message for you on the drivers display. It should be accessible from the keypad on the steering wheel.
That info is in your owners manual.
Thank you for your advise. Unfortunately the driver display had been burnt and did not work. I searched in the manual but no idea of what is happening so far.
