I have a 2013 ford edge it has a light about the asb brakes not long after I can not make a quick stop. It is not my pads
Your Edge needs to be taken in for service, now. Brake issues are nothing to delay. I can’t tell what is wrong by your description but I’d even suggest taking it to the Ford dealer for diagnosis and repair.
Deborah , I assume you could not do the mechanical work yourself . Someone on the web can only make educated guesses as to the problem but that will not solve the problem . You don’t want to rear end a person and have it discovered that your brakes needed repair . Think large lawsuit. I also think a dealer might be the best place to go soon.
