Just an FYI for any 2012-2013 Equinox owners. I received a voluntary recall notice from Chevrolet to replace both front and rear catalytic converters and O2 sensors due to degradation of catalytic and O2 sensor performance. According to Chevrolet this would not set the CEL.
The recall number is N192268181 and the recall does not show up on the NHSTA website. It affects ~67k vehicles. The letter did have a number for the customer assistance center 1-800-630-2438.
