Trac Off and Engine light came on - is this worrisome? I’m worried!
I can’t tell you not to worry. One light will often trigger the other. Could be minor, could be major. The the CEL is blinking—do not drive it , have it towed. If the CEL is solid you can drive it to your mechanic. It needs to be diagnosed and repaired. Ignoring it could lead to more problems and more expense.

Did just that. My mechanic found a faulty thermostat and has successfully replaced it. The check engine light and the TRAC OFF light are now off. Thank you!

Good for you, my guess the engine was running too cold. Glad it was a simple fix.
