On my 2012 Ford Taurus Limited the drivers seat heater gets way too
hot on the high setting. On the low setting it seems to work as it
should. The seat heater has 2 settings, high & low.
Could it be a malfunction with the seat heater control module? From what
i’ve researched the control module seems to be a common problem with
these vehicles. Any suggestions would be very appreciated.
Is it high to hot, or low not warm enough ?
The control module doesn’t control the temperature, the switch does. High is too hot for you? Pretty simple solution, isn’t it? Only use low. Ignore high. Problem solved.

Has the thought of turning it off after you get warm never occurred to you . Or use high for a few minutes then go to low , why make things complicated.
