2012 buick encore engine will not turn over no start
Can you jump start it? What is the battery voltage just sitting in the car. It should be at least 12.3 volts. Less and likely it will not start without a jump. If it is 10 volts or so, it has a bad cell and needs replacing.
Once the car is running (if you can jump it) check the voltage again. Less than 13.5 volts and your alternator has likely failed.
