I bought this car used and the only things that work on the radio are the volume control, CD player and the radio. The mode button doesn’t work, so no balance, or base and treble. I don’t know what else because nothing works for me to compare it with.

I am not familiar with your vehicle, but you can try doing a factory radio reset to see if that helps. your owner’s manual should tell you how. you may need a special radio security code for your radio so have it handy before you do it.
sometimes the radio security code may be on a sticker in your glove box.

Suggest to consult the owner’s manual to make sure you are accessing the controls correctly. For example, to adjust the stereo balance or audio tone controls on my car, I have to push the control inward first. If you don’t have the owner’s manual, you can probably download a copy at the Nissan website.
