Problems ? Same as any used vehicle so there is not really an answer to this question . And as all replies to this question have a mechanic look at any used vehicle you want for a fee and that will improve your chance of not wasting your money.

Safer than seatbelts alone or car manufacturers wouldn’t install them.
Several years ago I test drove a 2008 that had a serious transmission noise at 42K. Not saying they all do it but something to listen for.
