traction control and 4x4 light flashing constantly and four wheel drive in operative any thoughts please !!!
I am not a mechanic but the flashing light should be accompanied by a code stored in the powertrain control module (or whatever the Hyundai equivalent is). My best guess is that a wheel speed sensor is bad.
4WD will remain inoperative until you get the codes causing the traction control and 4X4 lights resolved. You need to see a mechanic.

^This +1. It doesn’t matter what’s wrong, car problems don’t tend to fix themselves. Have the issue diagnosed and fixed.
