Recently purchased a 2011 civic with 17000 miles. Brought in to the dealer for my first service after driving it for 6months at 21k. The service advisor informed me that I will need new brake pads in about 10,000 miles. The brake pads are at 6mm front and rear is this a little premature or is typical for this car when you get to 30k on the odometer?
