My escape loses power when I slow down; slowing for traffic, making a left turn, driving on the highway. Doesn’t happen all the time, but it is often enough to scare me, especially facing oncoming traffic when I want to turn. The engine does not die; just loses power - from 2000rpms to 1000, quickly. Pumping on the pedal doesn’t help, since it is computer controlled. Two different mechanics threw up their hands!
