Have a 2011 Equinox LT. Suddenly the Service Air bag light started coming on when I start the vehicle. If I turn the key once and then return and then start it goes away. Also comes on if vehicle is running and I open the door. Any clues to what the issue can be?
Yes, your airbag 's control computer is seeing a problem. And your airbags won’t work in a crash if the light is on. Take the truck to a service shop that owns a scan tool that allows them to scan the airbag’s computer. They will find the error code set there. That error code should lead them to a solution.
