electrical failure seems to lose power to engine dash lights start to flicker power steering which is an electric assist variety will not work after a little tinkering it comes back on and works normally i’ve replaced the alternator and the battery a short time ago works very well for a machine with 170,000 + this issue has been my only one for past 2 years
Ask your shop do a thorough battery & alternator system test. My diy’er version: Before the first start of the day the battery should measure about 12.6 volts; then immediately after starting the engine, 13.5-15.5 volts.
