I have to say, I have no idea what you are talking about, not much of a drinker … lol… don’t know what a “growler” is, or what an “IPA” is. I expect that is some sort of beverage that has a bigger than normal alcoholic content. I did have that sort of experience one time on a visit to Dallas, product was called a beer “Mamba”. My oh my. I’ve never seen that beer here in Calif. Which is probably a good thing … lol …
IPA: Indian Pale Ale. Tried an IPA on tap, did not like it, bar tender replaced it with a lager at no charge.
Not all IPA’s are the same. There are some very good IPA’s.
Ale is good style when brewing in warmer summer temperatures. Lager’s require colder brewing, first lagers probably only brewed in winter. Since we modern folks can brew at whatever temperature we want, seems to me lagers make a lot of sense
When I home brewed I had to ferment in the basement. It wasn’t cold enough for bottom fermenting beers like lagers but was fine for top fermenting beers like ales. One time I burned the wort on the bottom of the pot. I scraped it off but feared that it would make the brew taste bad. Big surprise! I liked it! The smoky flavor was a pleasant addition. Sometimes mistakes are a good thing.
How much would it cost to replace the subframe?
Somewhere in the YouTube universe used to be the fast frame replacement of a truck frame. Under warranty is one thing but paying for 40 or more hours at $200 an hour quickly exceeds the value of a 13 year old vehicle.
The Mercedes C-Class is a car, not a truck. Labor to replace the rear subframe is 6 hours.
So we’re in the $1200 plus parts neighborhood.
