i need a replacement key but cannot afford honda dealer prices. where can i get a key made cheaper?

Try a locksmith, they MIGHT be able to get the correct key.
Locksmith, NOT keys from a hardware or big box store.
That is my opinion, you will probably get other responses.

Is it a regular key or is it one of those laser cut keys?

I’ve gotten OEM blank key fobs for my Dodge off eBay. Take them to a locksmith for programming and they cut the spare metal key for me too.

I want to say the blank fob was maybe $25 on eBay, and locksmith charged $45 to program and cut.
