infiniti FX35…sport option on Trans shifter goes off/on intermittently…Drive works fine but Sport only sometimes…is this a transmission fluid needs to be changed problem?
No idea, but first step if I had that problem would be to rule out electrical system. Battery/alternator shop test.

But, if it has been more than 30k miles since the trans fluid was changed, you should have that done in order to prevent other–much more expensive–problems.
Does the sport option change it into something sporty?
Sport mode on my 50 year old truck: Get out & push if it runs out of gas …lol .
