I have a 2009 Acura TSX my AC has been working on and off mostly off in hot days. I noticed that the clutch on the compressor will stop turning and use a crowbar to hit it to make it turn again. Is my AC compressor gong out? I got an estimate from a dealer for $2000 to replace OEM compressor and as low $600 from a local mechanic off brand parts. what is you opinion?
Have the local mechanic do it using parts that he has confidence in. And please put away the crowbar🙂.
