I have a 1 year old Chrysler T/C Limited leased with 10 000 miles, now the A/C is not working took it back to the Dealer but they cannot repair the unit as the required part is on backorder with chrysler who cannot afford to pay their suppliers until the US government decides gives them some money.

Have you talked directly to Chrysler? Try that if you haven’t. If that doesn’t work out, why don’t you suggest that they take it off one of the new cars on the lot that they can’t sell? I’m serious. Unfortunately, you do not qualify for the US Government backed auto warranties.
Well, maybe if you start negotiating the lease payments for a car without AC they might wake up and see the problem. Even better, return the car to them as a lemon, I guess if you went there 3 or 4 times, you can claim lemon law rights!
