MY 08 altima cruise control comes on and the set light keeps blinking the service book says take it to my dealer is there anything i can do to fix it myself could it be a airleak or something?
It isn;t an airleak. To find out what it is, you’ll need to first have the ECU read for stored codes.
You do not need a dealer. Find an independantly owned and operated shop with a good reputation. Dealers generall charge more, but any good shop can dioagnose this just as well.
