Our AC continues to blow air, although it is not cold. A trip to an authorized dealer for repairs has me shocked. For $1600, they can replace 2 or the 4 cables that take air to the back of the vehicle. They rubbed together over time and began leaking. Why would that affect the front blowers? Are they serious about the $1600?
Why isn’t this under warranty?
It’s not under warranty anymore. So do you think the $1600 is a legitimate figure to replace 2 of the hoses (not cables)? Should we just bite the bullet and get it done?
I don’t know about the price, but you need this fixed. Check around, see if an a/c shop will do this for less.
