My daughter has a 2008 For Focus SE. During the recent heat wave she noticed a grinding noise coming from the left front, and the steering became stiffer. Only when turning hard left.??? The noise goes away when the wheel is turned back and nothing turning right.
Forget the weather, the car has a failing cv-joint. The left one. The Ford dealer is on the hook for this repair I bet.
