Believe it or not, it’s barely possible the seatbelt buckle is causing a short in the fuel pump relay. https://buickforums.com/forums/threads/2008-buick-lucerne-stalling-and-cutting-off.52969/ Of course, it could easily be something else. A good mechanic with hands on the vehicle can tell for sure.

A bad crankshaft position sensor can cause an engine to stall out of nowhere.
