What is causing a grindy/whiny noise as you make a turn, both left and right turns, but seems worse on a left hand turn. Daughter wonders if it is the power steering???
Could be, but might be a bearing or a constant velocity joint. Best bet is to tap on ‘mechanic files’ at the top of the page for a mechanic near you. Also chec with friends or coworkers for recommendations.
Or are you happy with the people that normally service the car?
This might be something that get more expensive to repair with time. Could be something very serious that will be a safety issue.
Really should have it looked at as soon as possible.
