Car stopped on the way and won’t start. no prior sign. just a noise underneath and it stopped
My understanding is that the CX -7s had a timing chain tensioner issue. If yours caused a timing chain failure your engine is likely toast.

Your engine is toast = ( destroyed - damaged beyond repair - too costly to repair )
