power steering warning light has been coming on periodically for last yr but only when 1st started car, said take to dealer. Today husband drove to store 3 miles away and on the way back power steering got hard to turn any direction but straight., Not sure what to do but call mobile mechanic to check it out.
Interesting how Toyota and Lexus owners rarely trust their dealerships.

I’d suggest another alternative… Have the car towed to an actual auto repair shop with a larger variety of tools and lifts. Not to disparage mobile mechanics but a shop is better equipped for this type of work because the steering is UNDER the car and a lift helps a LOT.
