Battery light came on,stayed on and Van ran fine,while parked and idling the gauges ,radio all dropped and came back on ,just kept doing this off and on.My battery is practically new? I checked if Belt was good,yes it looked ok.Iused my booster to jump start battery,it started straight up,Battery is great to me.Van won’t go in reverse nor drive.When I tried reverse later it made noises,didn,t move I stopped immediately when I heard noise.Later even when I jumped started Van it just died when I put it in drive gear?
Why haven’t you had it diagnosed and fixed properly? Your battery light is telling you there is a problem with the charging circuit, alternator, or battery. So now you will have to have it towed.
