2007 ford explorer xlt edition. While driving along a red box appeared on the dash and then a yellow wrench at which time I lost all electronics on the dash. The engine wont shift out of first gear at this point.
It is most likely in limp mode. If you can safely drive it to an auto parts store they can check the codes and you can post them here. If the lights are blinking have it towed to your mechanic.
