I have a 2007 ford edge that when you turn left or right it sounds like the traction control is activating and makes a ratcheting noise. I have replaced cv joints and wheel bearings. Any help greatly appreciated
The ratcheting noise is likely the ABS kicking in for traction control. I would suspect a faulty wheel speed sensor that is causing the traction control to activate when it shouldn’t.
Is it FWD or AWD?
It is FWD. It only does it when you accelerate into a turn
You can try unplugging and replugging the wheel speed sensors, but it’s likely @jesmed1 is right.
