what should I look for in the van? I want to use it as a sleeping car for long road trips. Don’t need kitchen, etc. Just a reliable vehicle to travel in. What are your thoughts?
The Sienna is the most reliable minivan you can buy. I cannot comment on sleeping comfort, but many hikers sleep in them instead of pitching their tents.

When you find one you like pay a mechanic to inspect it before you buy.

My wife has an 06 Sienna, best vehicle we’ve ever owned. At this point, a maintenance record and a mechanic’s inspection are most important. Also the Sienna is due for it’s second timing belt replacement (every 7yr/90k miles, whichever comes first).
