I had to replace the entire engine in this car. Is it possible to drive 3500 miles after an oil change, with the oil 3.5 quarts low, and never be aware of the problem?
Yes if you do not check the engine oil. The oil sensors only indicate oil pressure not the level, there most have been enough pressure but not volume in the engine causing its failure.
