Hi, I enjoy your show! I have a 2006 Range Rover Supercharge. I love it. but recently it has been “playing” whistle like “music”. I called the dealership service department, they said they had no idea what that may be. I Google it, it said it could be my battery.

The dealer service rep is not going to guess over the phone . You will have to take it in and pay for a diagnostic and if they get to repair this problem they might void the fee ( Key word Might ).
Also just in case you don’t know the Car Talk show has been reruns since 2012 .
I’ve NEVER heard a battery whistle… Don’t believe everything you read on the internet…
