AC & runs wright for awhile then stops , then comes back on does the same with heate

You mean the AC cold air blowing out turns on and off and turns warm? If yes replace the AC relay ($10 part) as first step.
is this an air temperature issues (air blows cold, then blows warm?)
or is this an air blows, then stops blowing issue? Kinda sounds like air air blowing issue, in which case it may be time for a blower motor or resistor.
The expansion valve is malfunctioning.
