the light on my dash just came on, what does this mean?
Fault detected and you need to get the codes scanned at a mechanic who can read/interpret likely specific Jeep computer codes.
The warning message indicates a fault is detected in the Final Drive Control Module (transfer case control module). However there is a software update to address “erroneous fault warning”.

Remember when the transfer-case control module was the drivers right hand?? What was wrong with THAT system?? It NEVER failed…
