My mini van has been sitting be 2 years in Oct. Since then a new thermastat, altenator, new battery,and a brand new radiator has been put in. I was told by a friend out of state to have a mechanic drop the gas tank and clean it before putting gas in since it had been sitting so long. I’m on a fixed income and a disabled widow. Van needs to be fixed. New tires, fabric fixed on interior top, and sensor blower that cools off engine. Van needs towed to shop .
Just drinking the old gas should be adequate.
I hope you mean draining
