2005 Toyota Tacoma - estimating lifespan

Yeah, but Toyota stepped up, even to the point of replacing trucks. Ford just said to live with it. Which do you think is more responsible? Besides, where else do you go for a compact pick up?

There are no new compact trucks being sold in the USA

The Rangers, Tacomas and Canyons sold today are large, compared to Rangers and S-10s being sold in the 1980s and 1990s

The warranty extension on your Toyota is a result of a class action lawsuit, even Toyota takes into consideration cost vs. reputation.

During the last 15 years class action lawsuits have had a major affect on warranty extensions, this type of support wasn’t common for the vehicles built during the 1990’s when vehicles were expected to be replaced after ten years.
