The clear coat is peeling off of my hood. Did you have a recall on this? I see several people has the same problem even with the newer cars.
Have you’ve ever applied a coat of wax to the vehicle?

I don’t see a listing for “c-class” If you mean c240, I don’t see any mention of paint problems.
Your MB dealer should be able to tell you if there’s a recall for your car.
It being 13 years old and this not being a safety issue, I wouldn’t get optimistic, but it never hurts to ask.

Keep the car out of the sun and put a coat of wax on the rest of the body panels.A car cover, a garage or shade from a tree will keep the car’s paint protected.
