The fuel door on my LR3 will not “latch” shut. It is a push system, push on the door and it latches or unlatches. The part on the door itself is new (easily replaced) however this did not fix problem. The actuator that slides into this housing appears broken on the bottom. My dealership is unsure how to replace this (almost never needs it) and I hope someone here may be able to guide me. The part itself is rather simple and appears to pivot on a pin but I can’t get the old one out or the new one in.

WHAT?
The dealer should have access to service information for every single part on your LR3, right down to the tiniest little thing.
Tell them to look it up.
If they can’t figure it out, tell them to call the factory for a special education session.
