Kia Optima 2005 overheats. Its the cheaper manual stick model. It seems a little low on water–like maybe 1/2 to one gallon, in a month. I do not think the fan runs via fan belt, so i cant tell if thats broken or not.
If you’re adding fluid monthly, there is a leak. A repair shop can find it with special pressure tools.

ok. yeah. i feel like there is more now (last time i drove it), because it got super hot pretty fast.
Keep driving and you will have a very expensive repair bill . Frankly this sounds like a head gasket problem so you might want to find a shop now.
